Professional Caregiver Guides Created by a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Hi, I’m Chris — a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and the creator of PTACaregiverGuides.

My journey into healthcare started years ago when my grandfather was admitted to a skilled nursing facility. I watched the staff care for him with genuine compassion, patience, and skill. It made a lasting impact on me. I knew I wanted to be that kind of support for someone else’s family — to be the person who shows up, helps, and brings comfort during a difficult time.

Working in the healthcare world, I see every day how overwhelming things can become for families. There’s so much information, so many instructions, and so many small details that are easy to lose track of when you’re trying your best to care for someone you love. Most caregivers are handed responsibilities without a clear roadmap or practical tools.

That’s why I created this shop.

PTACaregiverGuides is my way of giving caregivers the clarity, organization, and confidence they deserve. Each guide is designed to simplify complex medical information, reduce stress, and bring order to the chaos that often comes with hospital discharges, rehab stays, and home care.

These are not generic templates. They’re built from real clinical experience — the kind that comes from being in patients’ homes, rehab gyms, and hospital rooms.
My goal is simple:
to help families feel less confused, more prepared, and more supported as they navigate caregiving.

If my guides can make even one part of your caregiving journey easier, then I’ve honored the care my grandfather received — and the reason I entered this profession in the first place.

Thank you for being here, and thank you for the incredible work you do as a caregiver!
